JACKSONVILLE - North Florida softball opens up postseason against Jacksonville Friday at 1 p.m. The Ospreys earned the No. 2 seed in the South Division, while the Dolphins are No. 3.

WHAT TO KNOW
- North Florida (20-21, 9-9 ASUN) swept North Alabama in the final weekend of the regular season. Both Morgan Clausen and Halle Arends tallied 10 strikeouts each in the wins.
- For her performance, Brittany Sundermeier earned ASUN Player of the Week marking the first time since 2019 that an Osprey earned the honor. She went 7-for-8 with two doubles and two RBI with a pair of sac bunts.
- Friday marks the third meeting between the two squads in ASUN postseason play as North Florida currently holds a 2-0 record over the Dolphins.
- Heading into the ASUN Championship, Ashley Goebel currently holds a .384 batting average to rank second in the league this season.
- North Florida currently places third in the ASUN with 59 stolen bases led by Kayla McGory's 17 swipes.

JACKSONVILLE
- In the circle, the Dolphins are highlighted by Alyssa Bilodeau who currently tops the league with an ERA of 1.38 while also ranking first in total strikeouts with 163.
- As a team, Jacksonville leads the conference in both strikeouts (232) and ERA (1.92); right-handed pitcher Seana Mora ranks second in the league with an ERA of 1.93.
- Madison Kennedy is fourth in the league with 31 RBI to lead the team.
