JACKSONVILLE - North Florida softball caps its regular season with a pair of doubleheaders. FAU comes to town Wednesday before North Alabama comes to Jacksonville Saturday for a doubleheader. Each game will be featured on ESPN+.

WHAT TO KNOW
- North Florida (17-20, 9-9 ASUN) is looking to keep its winning streak after closing out the weekend against Stetson with two wins. ASUN postseason begins on May 7. The Ospreys will be the South Division No. 2 seed in the upcoming tournament.
- Morgan Clausen was named ASUN Pitcher of the Week after recording two wins with a sub-1.00 ERA. On the season she has a 3.14 ERA and has 70 strikeouts.
- Ashley Goebel and Shannon Glover led the team with their above .300 averages.
- Paige Pfent is hot as of late with a seven-game hit streak including a home run against Stetson - her fourth of the season.
- Coach Marcie Higgs is searching for her 13th season with 20 or more wins.
OPPONENT NOTES
FAU
- The Owls are currently 11-28 and 6-10 in their conference. They are coming in after a four game weekend against Middle Tennessee, wrapping up the weekend with two wins and two losses.
- Kaitlyn Burke is the top run producer with 15 RBI and a team-high five home runs.
- In the circle, Lynn Gardner has picked up seven wins in 27 appearances and leads the staff with 80 strikeouts.
- UNF is 3-5 against the Owls, but have won the last two meetings.Â

NORTH ALABAMA
- The Lions are 17-14 and 5-7 in ASUN play however the games against UNF and JU do not count towards conference standings. The Lions are looking to snap a five-game losing streak.
- Emma Broadfoot leads the team with 23 RBI on 23 hits thanks to 10 extra-base hits. Harley Stokes is close behind with 19 RBI on 17 hits.
- In the circle, Megan Garst has a 7-8 record with 101 strikeouts to lead the staff.Â
- UNF owns the series edge against the Lions, last picking up a win in the 2019 ASUN Championship.
UP NEXT
North Florida hosts Jacksonville in the Divisional round of the ASUN Championship Friday and Saturday, May 7-8. Game times will be announced later.
