JACKSONVILLE - The Ospreys advance to their sixth straight ASUN Women's Tennis Championship after sweeping No. 2N Lipscomb, 4-0, Friday night.

The Ospreys started the match off strong clinching the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. In the two slot, Catherine Gulihur and Valentina Mariotto downed Liza Diachenko and Sasha Dobranos, 6-2.

Lucia Montano and Constanza Gorches clinched the doubles point, edging Kate Popova and Anja Trbeznik, 6-4, on court one. The pair are now 15-5 overall, and 5-0 since transitioning to the one slot.

Freshman Annabelle Davis got on the board first in singles. She defeated Diachenko in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2, in the five slot.

Montano finished close behind Davis, downing Popova 6-0, 6-2, on court one. Gulihur clinched the match for the Ospreys in the two slot winning 6-2, 6-1, to secure the 4-0 sweep of the Bisons.

The ASUN Women's Tennis Championship will be a battle of the south division, as North Florida Hosts No. 2 FGCU in the teams' third meeting this season at 12 p.m. Saturday. The Ospreys are looking to win their sixth-straight championship title and ninth championship in program history.
