Galinis and Semeniuk Go 4-0 on the Weekend

MIAMI - North Florida beach volleyball (11-5) completed its weekend at the Panther Beach Battle, sweeping Florida Memorial (2-5) before dropping its second meeting against #13 FIU (14-4).

UNF 5, FMU 0
North Florida didn't drop a set, sweeping slots one through five for the second clean sweep of Florida Memorial on the weekend.

Taryn Griffey and Callie Workman clinched the match, improving to 11-4 on the year. UNF had two pairs earning wins in their first match as a duo. Carolyn Cain and Chantel McMillan and Leah Maloney and Marisa Rogers earned wins at slots five and four respectively.

Lauren Galinis and Carleigh Semeniuk made it six consecutive wins, while Antonia Harrison and Dana Roskic also improved to 11-4 with a win at the second slot.

#13 FIU 4, UNF 1
The Ospreys got their second chance against host #13 FIU in match two. The Panthers created a 2-0 lead after pairs four and five and didn't look back, clinching at the one slot.

FIU added another win at pair four, but Galinis and Semeniuk helped North Florida evade the sweep, winning 17-21, 21-16, 15-12. The duo is on a seven-match winning streak.
