AUBURN, Ala. - The North Florida women's tennis team was blanked by Auburn, 7-0, Saturday afternoon.

In doubles, Lucia Montano and Constanza Gorches fell first, 6-2, on court two to Georgie Axon and Adeline Flach. Auburn's Carolyn Ansari and Madeline Meredith claimed the doubles point on court three, downing Valentina Mariotto and Sean Lodzki, 6-3.

Court one went unfinished with Catherine Gulihur and Ana Paula Melilo up, 5-4, to No. 11 Taylor Russo and Selin Ovunc.

Gorches, Melilo and Mariotto took losses in straight sets on courts four, three, and five respectively, allowing the Tigers to clinch the match.

Summer Yardley came back from a, 6-4, deficit in the first set on court six, downing Adeline Flach, 6-3, in the second set. Yardley lost the tiebreak, 10-8, to finish the match.

North Florida travels to Miami, Fla., next for a match against FIU Feb. 20.
