Preview: UNF heads to Kennesaw State

KENNESAW, Ga. - North Florida is set to face off against Kennesaw State on Saturday and Sunday to continue ASUN play. UNF is on a six-game win streak against the Owls and have not lost in KSU Convocation Center since 2017.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW

UNF is coming off back-to-back wins against Jacksonville for the first time since 2011 and it was the first win at UNF Arena against the Dolphins since 2013.
North Florida at Kennesaw State is rescheduled from its original meeting on January 9-10. In the team's second meeting last year, UNF held Kennesaw State to just 33 points.
Despite smaller outings from behind the arc against Jacksonville, the Ospreys still rank in the top 15 from long range, placing 14th in the NCAA in 3-pointers made with 107. UNF is making 9.7/gm to place 11th.
Senior Jazz Bond is 9th in active NCAA Division I players with 175 career blocks. She ranks first in the ASUN with 29 this season. In addition, she is just 20 points away from 1,000 career points including her time at USF.
Rhetta Moore has been having a career senior season as she is ranked in the top 50 in the NCAA in 3PTM (57th), 3PT/G (68th), 3PT% (61st).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT

Jah'Che Whitfield leads the team, averaging 11.8 points/game, while three others are chipping in just around 10 points each.
Off the glass, Stacie Jones is pulling down a team-high 6.9 boards/game, while Gabi Legister is just behind at 6.5.
Junior Amani Johnson is the team's playmaker as she has 41 assists on the year.
KSU is looking for their first conference win after dropping games to North Alabama & Liberty.
