Drew Weeks Tabbed to the ABCA All-Region & All-America Team
Drew Weeks' 2014 included a nation-leading .430 batting average, 95 hits and a 31-game hitting streak to start the season.Â
These numbers and more were honored with a slew of national awards, including his American Baseball Coaches Association All-Region and All-America honors as announced by the national organization on this day six years ago.
Weeks was also recognized with all-american status by Baseball America, the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association and Perfect Game. \
He was picked up by the Colorado Rockies in the MLB First Year Player Draft earlier in the month.
