KENNESAW, Ga. - North Florida women's tennis picked up a Power Five win against Penn State Saturday, March 7, defeating the Nittany Lions, 4-1.

Constanza Gorches and Kendall Nash defeated Frederikke Svarre and Gabby O'Gorman, 6-3, to get the first win in doubles. Sean Lodzki and Valentina Mariotto clinched the doubles point, edging Gracey Hirsch and Sydney Weinberg, 7-5.

Montano claimed court one, winning in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 against Svarre. Nash stretched the Ospreys' lead to 3-0 against the Nittany Lions, defeating Gracey Hirsch 6-3, 6-4.

Penn State picked up their lone point of the day on court two before Lodzki clinched the match in straight sets on court six.

North Florida women's tennis returns home Monday, March 9 to host Navy in the team's first-ever meeting.
