JACKSONVILLE - North Florida softball looks to bounce back after a three losses over the weekend as it hosts FGCU to continue ASUN play on Friday and Saturday.

TEAM NOTES
- UNF moved to 22-14 and stands at 4-5 in the ASUN. Head Coach Marcie Hickey has now had 20 or more wins in all of her 11 seasons. She is currently four wins away from 300 at UNF.
- Senior Dominica Cocuzza leads the league with her .640 slugging percentage and sits in second in the ASUN with .386 average and 32 RBI.
- The Ospreys pace the ASUN with a .284 batting average, just ahead of league-leader, Liberty, who is hitting .283.Â
- Tiffany Lower owns a five-game reached base streak and is hitting .304 on the season with a league-leading four triples.
ASUN PLAY
- Senior Navia Penrod is second in the ASUN with her .417 average in league play. She is tied for sixth with 14 hits.
- Pitcher Sydney Matzko is seventh with 25 strikeouts against league opponents, while freshman Morgan Clausen owns 12 in her 13.1 innings of work.
- Junior Rindy Byrant has been making an impact in conference play with her .364 average.
RECORD WATCH
- Penrod is chasing the ASUN career record (285) held by UCF's Stephanie Best as she has 256 on the season.
- Classmate Dominica Cocuzza needs nine doubles to tie the school record held by Kelly Lee.
- Cocuzza currently has 120 career RBI, 24 shy of the record. Her 31 RBI this season is the best for her four-year career.
- Matzko is currently trying to break the top 10 strikeout list. She has 216 and needs 12 to take the 10th spot in just two seasons of work with UNF.

- FGCU grabbed the series last season in Fort Myers with three straight victories to knock UNF out of the ASUN postseason.
