Ospreys Take All 10 Matches on Day

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. - UNF beach volleyball's dominance of the River City Rumble continued Saturday. The Ospreys swept both ends of a twin bill to improve to 21-2 all-time against the Dolphins and 2-0 to start ASUN competition.

Match 1 | UNF 5, Jacksonville 0

UNF only dropped one set between pairs 1-5 and the extras pair.
Dana Roskic and Callie Workman won their 15th match of the year at the four spot, and Carleigh Semeniuk and Lauren Galinis sured things up at five, putting the Ospreys up two.
Brittany Pase and Chaney clinched it with consecutive 21-13 wins. Madilyn McCarty and Nicole DeBolt improved to 11-3 at the three spot and Antonia Harrison and Jessi Freeman fended off JU in three sets to earn the team sweep.

Match 2 | UNF 5, Jacksonville 0

The Ospreys took 10 of 11 sets to sweep the second half of the day.
UNF went with the same five pairs, but switched it up in extras play. Marisa Rogers and Kirby Smith won 21-13, 21-10 in the extra slot.
Semeniuk and Galinis took the only match that went to three sets, prevailing in the deciding set, 15-8.

Up Next
UNF continues ASUN play when it heads to Macon, Ga., next weekend. The Ospreys will play four matches, two against Mercer and a pair against Stetson.

UNF improves to 4-1 at home.
It's UNF's ninth sweep of the season and third in as many matches.
The Ospreys have only been the host team three times in the 23 meetings with JU.
DeBolt is tied for third in career wins at UNF (56).
