Ospreys Defeat Spring Hill, Fall to Host No. 4/4 LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. - North Florida beach volleyball split two matches to open play at a highly competitive Tiger Beach Challenge Friday, March 22. UNF (12-8) downed Spring Hill, 4-1, before falling to host No. 4/4 LSU, 5-0.

UNF 4, Spring Hill 1

UNF improved to 7-0 all-time against the Badgers with a weekend-opening win.
Dana Roskic and Callie Workman earned their sixth win in a row and Kirby Smith contributed in her first triumph as an Osprey to help propel UNF.
All four of the Ospreys triumphs came in straight sets. Brittany Pase and Chaney Howard got back in the win column with a sweep at the one spot.

No. 4/4 LSU 5, UNF 0

The Tigers (10-4) won their third straight and second at home on the season with the sweep. Smith and Lauren Galinis appeared as a pair for the second time of the night and Roskic/Workman's winning streak was snapped.
