- UNF's women also placed third last year and it was their third Top 3 finish in the last four years
- Several Ospreys head into the championship meet as the current ASUN leaders in their events:
  3000m (men): Noah Perkins - 8:10
High Jump (men): Jaasiel Torres - 2.08m
  DMR (men): 10:03
THOUGHTS FROM THE TOP
"Both squads are excited to get back to action. Our indoor season only consisted of two meets and that allowed us time to train, stay healthy and left us hungry as we head into the ASUN Championships."
Men
"Three-time defending high jump champion Bobby Harris only has outdoor eligibility but freshman Jassiel Torres has been jumping very well and comes in as the top ranked jumper. George Escobar has done a great job this indoor season in both the 400m and 800m. He will be called upon to run four events this weekend which provides him with a lot of opportunities to shine. Noah Perkins had a break through during indoor and looks to lead our charge in the distance races as he faces stiff competition in the 3000m and 5000m. Nick Morken and Fynn Timm, who have a combined 10 ASUN Championship wins but will be on the sideline this weekend, which gives a great opportunity to some of our young guys to step up. Timothy Doyle, Jared Vasquez, Leo Queyrou and Sem Sultanov have shown some real strength this indoor season and look to have good championship meet performances."
Women
"We are a very young squad and have made some nice gains this season. We are looking to continue that trend of improvement and gain valuable experience. Lydia van Dijk has led the squad in middle distance events showing great range and ability. We will look for her to lead the charge in the DMR, the Mile and the 800m. Sonja Andenmatten has ran some very good indoor 800's and looks to battle for the win in that event as well as compete in the DMR and 4x400m relay." - Head coach Jeff Pigg
