- North Florida started the game 4-for-5 from the field to lead 15-10, but then went cold as it was held to just one basket over the next two and a half minutes.
- Norfolk State crept back with a pair of makes and a bucket that went over into the second quarter to come within 15-14.
- Tolbert then went on her own 7-0 run with a triple and a pair of baskets to give the Ospreys their biggest lead 22-14.Â
- The Spartans had a 6-0 stretch to come within two, but three different Ospreys helped out to lift UNF to 30-22. A triple on the Spartans last possession made it 30-25 at the break.
- In the third quarter, North Florida used a 14-4 run to take a 44-33 advantage, but the Spartans did not go away, closing in to 47-41 at the end of the frame.
- A 9-2 run from the Spartans put them out front by one before Tolbert hit a triple and Jackson took her defensive rebound back the other way for a 54-50 lead with 3:55 to play.
- From there, it was Norfolk's game as it closed the game on a 7-0 run.

- North Florida is now 33-9Â when leading at the half under Coach Gibbs.
- The four free throw attempts were a season low for UNF who was ranked in the top 10 in the NCAA in attempts.
- The nine three-pointers were just one shy of the season-high. Tolbert was 4-for-4 from long range - her season best.
- Senior Dasha Eremeeva had a career-high 12 rebounds to help the Ospreys owned a 45-25 edge off the glass.
