North Florida junior Fynn Timm competed in the 3000m Steeplechase on Friday night during the second day of action at the NCAA East Preliminary in Tampa, Fla.

- Fynn Timm, making his third consecutive appearance at the NCAA East Prelim, clocked a time of 9:17 and finished 38th in the 3000m Steeplechase. Timm is the three-time ASUN Champion in the event

"Our worry coming in was how would Fynn's knee feel after his fall at the ASUN meet. Luckily, his knee was great but his rhythm was off a little and at the end he wasn't his best. Now he can begin preparing for his senior year."
