North Florida senior Tyler Stahl's participation on Saturday in the quarterfinals of the NCAA East Preliminary 1500m race marked the end of the season for UNF's men's squad and closed out a successful collegiate career for Stahl.Â

"A native of Tampa, Tyler Stahl closed out his career back at home where it began. He ran his final college race in a downpour and put himself in perfect position, but just couldn't quite close with the lead pack. He had a fantastic career at UNF. He not only trusted the process but he also helped create it. Tyler had talent and he maximized it with consistent, hard work. He achieved a lot individually and certainly made people around him better. We will miss him on the roster but the process and culture is established and the work and success will follow."
