Ospreys Pick Up Two ASUN Wins On Friday

Jacksonville, Fla. - The North Florida beach volleyball team remained perfect in ASUN play with a pair of victories on Friday against Coastal Carolina and Mercer at Dolphin Beach.Â

Beach Bullets
- In the first match of the day, the Ospreys No. 4 and No. 5 pairs got out to a quick start with a pair of straight set wins against Coastal Carolina.
- In the No. 1 position, senior Carina Hoff and junior Courtney Miller grabbed a dominating two set victory over the Chanticleers to give UNF a victory.
- Junior Brittany Pase and freshman Callie Workman, paired at the No. 3 position picked up a victory to help finish off the win for the Ospreys.
- In the afternoon match against Mercer, UNF got its opening point from the No. 4 pair as Madilyn McCarty and Nicole DeBolt picked up a two set win before Mercer tied the match with a win at the No. 5.
- At the No.1 position, Hoff and Miller continued their strong play with another straight set victory over Mercer. With the wins, Miller moved into a tie for first in program history with 56 career wins.
- Sophomore Taryn Griffey and junior Chaney Howard bounced back from the morning match against Coastal Carolina to secure the match for the Ospreys in a two set winner.
