Ospreys Remain Perfect In ASUN Play

Jacksonville, Fla. - The North Florida beach volleyball team, highlighted by Courtney Miller's school record 57th victory, moved to 6-0 in league play on Saturday at Dolphin Beach with a pair of wins over Coastal Carolina and Mercer. Â

Beach Bullets
- In the first match of the day, the Ospreys No. 4 and No. 5 pairs got out to a quick start with a pair of dominating straight set wins against Coastal Carolina.
- In the No. 1 position, senior Carina Hoff and junior Courtney Miller grabbed a tough straight set win over the Chanticleers to give UNF the win. With the victory, Miller took sole possesion of first place in the Ospreys record book with 57 career wins.
- Junior Brittany Pase and freshman Callie Workman, paired at the No. 3 position picked up a two set win before Taryn Griffey and Chaney Howard at the two's earned a tough three set win to give the Ospreys a clean sweep.
- In the afternoon match against Mercer, UNF got its opening point from the No. 5 pair as Madilyn McCarty and Nicole DeBolt picked up a two set win before Mercer tied the match with a win at the No. 4.
- At the No.1 position, Hoff and Miller continued their winning ways with another two set win over the Bears before Mercer knotted the match at two apiece.
- Pase and Workman at the threes finished off the victory for the Ospreys as they improved to 6-0 in league play.
