Comments from Coach Pigg:
"This was a great trip for our team. They competed well and continued to grow as a team. They really support one another and take pride in doing so. We had a lot to be proud of this week. Now it's time to focus on closing out the semester with a strong finals week performance."
"Hallie Grimes broke the 55 second barrier in the 400m with a PR of 54.72. It has been a goal of hers for a long time and it was fantastic to see her break through in the final regular season road meet of her career. She has worked hard and delivered on race day. It was also nice to see Syd Steele PR in the event for the second straight meet. Louise Washburn finished fourth in the pole vault and backed up her great mark last week with another strong mark in swirling winds today. She is doing great this season. Claudia Jalon and Skye Zeller ran well in the 800m and have placed themselves solidly in second and third on the ASUN performance list. Alyssa Young had another solid day in the high jump. She is consistent at this height and primed for a big PR soon. Khorri Newton had a break out day placing 6th with a lifetime best of 1.63m . It's great to see Khorri a day when all her hard work and dedication shows through in the height of her jump."
