STARTING BLOCK
North Florida Women's Track and Field wrapped up the regular season meet schedule Friday at the North Florida Invite with several athletes posting personal best performances at Hodges Stadium.

AROUND THE TRACK
- In the 1500m Invitational Flight, senior Claudia Jalon grabbed the event title after posting a time of 4:23
- A quartet of Ospreys tallied PRs in the 800m led by senior Hallie Grimes (5th) in a time of 2:12.44 | Sophomore Skye Zeller ran a 2:12.57 (6th) with freshmen Sydney Steele and Destiny Snape both making their collegiate debuts in the event
- Junior Audrey Carpenter paced a trio of UNF runners with PRs in the 5000m, clocking a time of 17:38 en route to a 5th-place showing | Freshmen Ciara Golliher and Hannah Evans made their first career appearances at that distance
- The 4x400m quartet of Jenn Brunson, Hallie Grimes, Syd Steele and Skye Zeller posted a season best time of 3:47 to earn a fourth-place finish

ON THE FIELD
- Senior Alyssa Young earned a third-place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.68m (5-06.00)
- Sophomore Louisa Washburn tallied another podium finish, hitting a mark of 3.85m (12-07.50) to finish third in the pole vault

UP NEXT:
North Florida takes a couple weeks off from competition before returning to the Hodges Stadium track for the ASUN Championship Meet on May 11-12.
