COURSE REPORT: Standout senior Eden Meyer captured the individual crown while pacing the North Florida women's cross country team to a third-place finish Saturday morning at the prestigious UF-hosted Mt. Dew Invitational.

FINISH LINE
- Eden Meyer earned her second consecutive individual meet title after beating the field to the 5k finish tape in a time of 17:09, which was 12 seconds faster than anyone else.
- Senior newcomer Claudia Jalon joined Meyer in the Top 10, finishing 6th with a PR clocking of 17:58
- Junior Audrey Carpenter was 18th in a time of 18:32 with senior Grace Meyer and sophomore Skye Zeller rounding out the Osprey's group of scoring runners

THOUGHTS FROM COACH PIGG...
"Eden had a very strong race. She looked comfortable in dominating a very solid field. Claudia Jalon, running her first meet for us, did very well and it was good to have her out there in our lineup. Audrey Carpenter ran the best race of her UNF career. She has worked hard and now we are seeing her take it to another level. Proud of the team's effort and the fact that we beat some good conference teams."
WHAT'S NEXT
North Florida returns to competition on Oct. 13 in the Crimson Classic hosted by Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The course will also host the NCAA South Regional meet in November.
