Kamml Sweeps ASUN Weekly Honors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Women's Cross Country freshman Viktoria Kamml swept ASUN weekly honors on Monday with ASUN Runner of the Week and Freshman of the Week selections.
Kamml became the 13th Osprey to earn ASUN Runner of the Week honors in program history and the first since Eden Meyer on Oct. 18, 2017. She also became the third Osprey to earn ASUN Freshman of the Week honors and the first since Cohen Kooker on Oct. 23, 2024.
Kamml made her collegiate debut with a time of 18:05.4 to earn a 13th-place finish in the women's 5K at the Queens City Invite on Sept. 11. She led five Ospreys inside the top 25 of the individual standings.
North Florida totaled 88 points to earn a fourth-place team finish, trailing only Elon, Charlotte and Marshall. The Ospreys finished ahead of ASUN opponent and meet host Queens (N.C.) in the 29-team field.
Kamml posted the top individual finish among ASUN runners in the field, while North Florida earned the best team finish among conference programs in the field and during the week of competition. North Florida has now posted top-four team finishes in both meets this season after earning a runner-up team finish at the Florida Intercollegiate XC Invitational on Sept. 4.
North Florida continues its season at the Georgia Tech XC Invitational on Oct. 2 in Atlanta, Ga.
