Â
THOUGHTS FROM COACH PIGG...
"Eden ran an amazing race. She was strong the whole way against a very good field that included NCAA Champions and All-Americans. She continues to build on her great track season this past spring. Claudia Jalon competed very well in her first collegiate 6k. Audrey Carpenter ran the best college race of her life. She ran with confidence and performed very well. Grace Meyer, coming off an injury, ran exactly how we hoped she would run. She will continue to make drastic progress over the next couple weeks. Ciarra rounded out our Top 5 running her first career 6k. The team finish was very good considering we came into the race not ranked in the Top 15 of the region. This was a great trip. We have made strides in our culture and team dynamics and we know great things lie ahead. Next up on our agenda is the ASUN Championship."
WHAT'S NEXT
North Florida wraps up the regular season meet schedule on Oct. 28 at the ASUN Championship in Kennesaw, Ga. Eden Meyer looks to defend her individual title.
