NASHVILLE, Tenn. - North Florida lost its first series of the ASUN season as Lipscomb won, 2-1, on Saturday afternoon.

- The Ospreys lone run was scored on a sacrifice fly from Dominica Cocuzza.
- After pitching a one-hit shutout on Friday, freshman Morgan Blourne earned the starting nod. Ultimately she surrendered the game-winning run after a single brought home a run.
- Freshman Kayla McGory was hot from the plate with a 2-for-3 day including a walk and a one-out triple in the seventh which led to the sac fly for the lone run of the game.
- Lipscomb's Mandy Jordan once again stifled the Ospreys' ASUN leading offense, giving up just four hits and striking out four as well.
GAME CAPSULE
- Lipscomb scored in the second when a wild pitch allowed a run to come around. Blourne issued a leadoff walk before a sac bunt moved her over. Destinee Brewer then stepped to the plate for a double to left field that put runners on second and third. A wild pitch allowed one run to score.
- After making it to third on the wild pitch, Brewer then came home on Abby Fenichel's single up the middle.
- Blourne did keep the runners off the bases for the rest of the game as she gave up five hits, five walks and five strikeouts in just her fourth loss of the season.
