- Sophomores Navia Penrod and Jenna Brownell led the way for the Ospreys with three hits each. Penrod added two RBI, while Brownell had the game-winning RBI with her single up the middle.
- Six other Ospreys had two hits on the night to help UNF outhit the Rattlers, 19-8. The 19 hits are a season-best for the Ospreys besting the previous of 17 against Colgate in just six innings.
- Junior Amanda Blanchard came in the eighth inning and dominated Florida A&M, surrendering just two hits and a walk while striking out nine. She relieved starter Morgan Blourne who tossed a complete game with six hits, one walk and five strikeouts. Only three of the eight runs given up during Blourne's time in the circle were earned.
- North Florida struggled to bring the runs in as it left 13 runners stranded, while FAMU left just six.
- The Rattlers Kenya Pereira tossed 8.1 innings of work with eight strikeouts and 12 hits surrendered. Tahila Snider was tagged with the loss after coming in for 4.1 innings of work with four hits, one unearned run and a strikeout.

- Both teams struggled to get on the board until the fifth inning. Florida A&M capitalized on four UNF errors and two hits to score five runs.
- North Florida answered in the bottom of frame as Ashley Niesman scored the first run for UNF on Alex Arciola's hit to left field.
- Taylor Aguayo then earned a walk to load the bases as Casey Estes was already on the base paths on a single.
- Navia Penrod hit a deep single to left center to bring in Estes and Arciola to cut the lead to 5-3.
- After switching pitchers, the visitors recorded a strikeout before an error allowed another run to score.
- Dominica Cocuzza hit into a well-placed ground out as Penrod was able to sneak past home plate to tie the game.
- In the sixth, Alexis Day hit a home run to give FAMU the lead again and the Rattlers extended it with two runs in the seventh for the 8-5 lead.
- The Ospreys did not stay down for long as back-to-back hits from Penrod and Brownell put two on before moving into scoring position on a wild pitch.
- Florida A&M had another error to allow a run to score and a wild pitch made it a one-run game with no outs.
- After bringing back Kenya Pereira in to pitch, she got a batter swinging before Macayla Kelley sent a single to left field to bring in the game-tying run. Pereira was able to sit the next two batters down and send the game to extras.
- It took a complete game to get a winner when in the 15th inning, Penrod reached on a single before moving into scoring position on an overthrow on her hit.
- Brownell then stepped to the plate and sent her 1-2 pitch up the middle allowing Penrod to score the run and end the game.
OUTSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The 15 innings game is the longest in UNF history and is the longest game in the ASUN since 2004. The game also went 15 innings.
- Kelley is now on a four-game reach base streak.
- The Ospreys had a season-high five errors in the victory, while FAMU totaled eight.Â
