- Despite having two outs, North Florida upped its offense during the fifth inning. The Ospreysgot its first run on the board when Jenna Brownell crossed the plate on a fielding error.Â
- With a single from Penrod and two errors loaded the bases, the freshman shortstop, McGory, stepped up to the plate and whacked a grand slam over the left field fence to knot the game at five.
- The home team took its lead back with a lead off homer in the bottom of the fifth. The Bulldogs added one more insurance run as it held the Ospreys to just one hit in the final two innings.
- After pitching relief in game one, Logan Green came in for the final six outs and surrendered just three hits with one run and a strikeout.
