JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After a 5-1 weekend, the North Florida softball team heads down to face a tough opponent in No. 10 Alabama on Wednesday.

NOTEABLES
- Junior Macayla Kelley was named the ASUN Player of the Week for her outstanding performance during the Osprey Invitational where she batted .542.
- Sophomore Navia Penrod leads the team with 20 hits and 12 runs scored, while Dominica Cocuzza owns a team-best 10 RBI. Penrod is fourth in the ASUN in batting, while Cocuzza is third in RBI.
- Freshman Kayla McGory has been issued 14 walks, while Jenna Brownell has reached 10 times on balls.
- In the circle, Logan Green owns a team-low 2.24 ERA with a 2-3 record. That record though is not indicative of the stellar performances this weekend. She tossed five of the six games either starting or in relief.
- Green has a staff-high 26 strike outs in 43.2 innings pitched, while Morgan Blourne is 2-0 on the year with 15 strikeouts.
- As a team, the Ospreys are hitting .316Â which is fourth in the conference.

- Alabama dropped five spots in the USA Today/NFCA poll and six spots in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll after falling in two out of three games at Louisiana, who in turn rose to No. 16 in both of this week's polls.
- Gabby Callway leads the team with .500 average, but missed the opening weekend.
- Three players have 10 hits, while Peyton Grantham leads the team with 12 RBI.
- Marisa Runyon is tough to pitch to as she has a team-high 10 walks.
- On the rubber, Sydney Littlejohn has not surrendered an earned run in 15.1 innings of work with 20 strikeouts.
- The Tide's ace, Alexis Osorio, owns 50 strikeouts with a 1.28 ERA.
