- Eastern capitalized on its short game in the ninth three infield singles with the runner placed on second score first.Â
- The Panthers opened up the game as Amber Toenyes hit a three-run homer to left center to give the visitors a lead they never gave up.
- North Florida certainly tried to push the game to the 10th as three runs scored for the Ospreys.
- A leadoff single put runners on the corners before Eastern got the next two batters on strikeouts.
- With two outs, Navia Penrod sailed a single to left field before a bad throw allowed Niesman to score and make it 14-11.Â
- With runners on the corners, Kelley took the first pitch and put it in the outfield for another run to score.
- UNF loaded the bases on a walk, but couldn't make anything more of the inning as the visitors took the victory.
- In game two, South Carolina State struck first scoring two unearned runs. A double to center field scored both, but it would be the only runs of the day for the Bulldogs.
- North Florida added two when on a throwing error and a single from Dominica Cocuzza.
- In the fourth, Penrod hit a short bunt in front of the plate, but Alex Arciola, who pinch ran for Jen Valle, snuck past the tag at home to give UNF a 3-0 lead.
