The Short Story: The North Florida men's golf team ended Monday's opening day of play at the Crooked Stick Invitational in fourth place following rounds of 282-293. Junior Andrew Alligood led a trio of Ospreys in the Top 20 after rounds of 70-73 moved him into a tie for 10th.

FIRST TEE
- UNF led the tournament thru the first 18 holes, carding a 6-under 282 for a five stroke advantage... The Ospreys closed the day with a 293 to finish with a 1-under 575
- Andrew Alligood and Dillon Woods paced North Florida's first round of play posting rounds of 2-under 70. Alligood followed it up with a 1-over 73 and sits tied for 10th at 143
- Fellow juniors Philip Knowles and Travis Trace started their days with rounds of 71 followed by rounds of 73 and 74, respectively. Knowles is tied for 13th (144) and Trace is tied for 18th (145).
- Woods ended the day tied for 39th at 149 with junior Jack Comstock rounding out the UNF lineup in a tie for 45th at 151 (78-73)
