Serra Cards Top-10 Finish At Giles-Spratley Collegiate

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Redshirt junior Filippo Serra posted a top-10 finish on the leaderboard to propel North Florida Men's Golf at the Giles-Spratley Collegiate on Tuesday, held at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Va.
Serra finished tied for ninth at 4-under 212 (70-72-70). He carded a pair of rounds under-par to earn his season-best finish and second top-10 finish at North Florida.
In addition to Serra, redshirt sophomore Danny Erickson posted a top-25 finish with a tie for 22nd overall at even-par 216 (73-73-70). Senior Adam Vermut rounded out the Ospreys in the top-50 with a tie for 45th overall.
Vermut and Serra each placed in the top-10 of the field in pars.
North Florida placed 11 out of 14 teams on the team leaderboard.
