- This will be the second meeting this season as the Ospreys retained the second annual Mayor's Cup with a 10-6 victory at home on March 2.
- Friday will be the 59th meeting between the Ospreys and Dolphins with Jacksonville holding a 33-25 edge in the all-time series that began in 1988.
- Under Smoke Laval, the Ospreys are 12-7 against Jacksonville and have won their last four meetings, tied for the longest win streak for UNF in the series' 28-year history.
- The Ospreys are 19-16 against the Dolphins since 2006. North Florida has won six of the 10 series since the two joined the Atlantic Sun.

- With Wednesday's dramatic win over Florida A&M, the Ospreys have come-from-behind in 10 of their 19 wins this season.
- As a team, the Ospreys lead the A-Sun in batting average (.308), scoring (7.2 rpg), runs (222), hits (338), home runs (30) and slugging % (.444).
- The Ospreys matched a season-high with four home runs against Florida A&M on Wednesday.

- Karmeris had a season-high, three hits including his sixth home run on Wednesday. He has recorded an RBI in six-straight games.

- Reliever Matthew Naylor has pitched in the last five games for the Ospreys. He is tied for second in the A-Sun and is 16th in the nation with 17 appearances.
- Senior Corbin Olmstead earned his 11th career victory on Wednesday night. He is tied with Naylor for eighth on the school's D-1 era Wins list.
- Alex Smith put forth his longest outing of his career (3.2 IP) and earned his first victory of the season on Tuesday against Bethune-Cookman. He has yet to surrender an earned run in 10.2 innings this season
- Junior Bryan Baker's 2.14 ERA is the lowest in the Atlantic Sun and his 44 strikeouts are the third most in the league.

- The Ospreys matched a season-high with three double plays turned against Bethune on Tuesday.
- North Florida's 34 double plays are the fifth most in the country, trailing national leader Georgia Tech by nine.
