@OspreySB Travels to Tallahassee for Wednesday Doubleheader

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida Softball team heads to Tallahassee, Fla. Wednesday for a non-conference doubleheader against Florida A&M.

The Ospreys (14-19) are coming off of a weekend series against Kennesaw State, winning two out of three games for the series win.

This doubleheader was originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 30, but was rescheduled to this week due to field conditions.
Â
The Ospreys' offense is led by seniors Shelby Duncan and freshman Navia Penrod. Duncan ranks first on the team and fourth in the conference in batting average (.362), while also leading the team and conference in doubles. Penrod ranks second on the team and sixth in the conference in batting average (.357), while leading the team in hits, on-base percentage (.402) and stolen bases (15).

The Ospreys' bullpen includes junior Logan Green. Green leads the team in wins and innings pitched, while ranking fifth in the conference in complete games.
