GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The North Florida men's track and field team posted several strong performances Friday in the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational hosted by the University of Florida at Percy Beard Track.

Sophomore standout Nick Morken recorded the fastest 800m of the season, racing to a time of 1:50. He paced a group of Osprey runners finishing among the Top 10 in the event followed by Taylor Sumagpang (1:52), Rayford James (1:53) and Constantine Stathis (1:53).

Sprinters Desmond Robb and Maurice Sapp notched strong times in the 400m including a PR by Sapp in 48.73. In addition, the trio of Logan Poteet, Fynn Timm and Wesley Norton all clocked solid times in the 1,500m.
