TALLAHASSEE -- The North Florida Track & Field team wrapped up competition Saturday in the Seminole Invitational at Mike Long Track, posting several personal bests.
Women's pole vault standout Megan Walker finished third in the event after tallying a personal best mark of 12-6.25 (3.82m) while Hallie Grimes ran a personal record 56.24 in the 400m. On the men's side, senior Maurice Sapp sprinted to a PR in the 400m with a time of 48.80.
The Ospreys will next compete in a pair of one-day events in preparation for the Atlantic Sun Championships in May. UNF will participate in the Tom Jones Memorial on Apr. 22 in Gainesville, followed by hosting the UNF Twilight on May 4.
