JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After a five-game stint on the road, the North Florida baseball team (21-14, 2-4 A-Sun) will be back at Harmon Stadium Friday night for a three-game series against Stetson (17-15, 1-2 A-Sun) presented by Pepsi. All three games can be viewed live on ASunTV (weather permitting) or can be heard on 1010XL/92.5 FM throughout the weekend.

-Friday night will be "Tax Night" in which fans can enjoy a hot dog, soda or beer for just $4.15.
-Saturday and Sunday fans can play Baseball Bingo for prizes.

- Stetson owns a 21-19 advantage in the all-time series that began in 1988 and is 10-8 all-time at Harmon Stadium.
- The Ospreys have won six of the last seven games against the Hatters including a three-game sweep last season at Melching Field.

- The two-game season sweep of USF is the third opponent North Florida has swept this season.
- A victory over USF improved the Ospreys to 8-5 against Florida schools this season
- Nick Karmeris hit the team's third grand slam of the season on Tuesday vs. USF, it was his seventh homer of the year which is the third most in the A-Sun.
- With walks late in the game Tuesday, Corbin Olmstead (28 games) and Chris Thibideau (21 games) each extended their reached base streaks.
- North Florida leads the A-Sun in five different offensive categories: batting average (.299), runs (238), hits (367), home runs (31) and slugging percentage (.427).
- Catcher Keith Skinner has caught all 35 games for North Florida and offensively leads the A-Sun with a .405 batting average and a .487 on-base percentage.
- On the country's toughest to strike out list, Keith Skinner ranks 10th while Kyle Brooks is 69th.
- As a team, the Ospreys walked six times on Tuesday night, the 11th time they have drawn five or more in a game. They were issued a season-high 10 on March 13 vs. UNCW
- Through six conference games, Patrick Ervin is sporting an on-base percentage of .556, the sixth highest in the A-Sun. He has reached base with five walks, five hit-by-pitches and five hits. His five runs scored are the second most league wide in conference play this season.
- The Ospreys erased a five-run deficit this past Tuesday, the largest of their 11 comeback victories this season.
- For his career, Corbin Olmstead is 10-for-28 (.357) with four home runs and 11 RBIs against Stetson. As a sophomore he hit two home runs against the Hatters on April 25, 2014.

- Friday night starter Bryan Baker enters the series with the league's third-lowest ERA (2.49) and third-most strikeouts (49). The 49 K's this season are already a new single-season high for the right-hander.
- Corbin Olmstead set the new D-1 era program mark with his 74th appearance on Tuesday. He also recorded his 20th career save and is four shy of tying the all-time program record.
- Redshirt junior Alex Smith stranded the tying runner on third base in the seventh inning against USF. In 13 innings pitch he has yet to surrender a run and has struck out 10 batters.
- Reliever Austin Howze moved into a tie for the team lead with his third win on Tuesday night. The junior righty tossed 2.2 innings of one-hit baseball.
- Reliever Matthew Naylor has appeared in 18 games this season, the third most of any A-Sun pitcher. He's coming off his longest outing of the season, 4.0 innings pitched on Saturday vs. Jacksonville.
- The Osprey bullpen is 13-5 this season with a 2.51 ERA and is responsible for 129 of the 254 Osprey strikeouts.

- The Ospreys have turned 38 double plays this season, the sixth most in the country and eight behind national leader Georgia Tech.
- Tuesday marked the 12th errorless game of the season and third in the last four contests. The Ospreys are third in the A-Sun with a .971 fielding percentage.
- Last season against Stetson, Patrick Ervin recorded seven-consecutive assists between the sixth and eighth innings in the series opener on May 1, 2015. Ervin is six assists shy of tying T.J. Thompson for fourth place all-time on the career assists list.

The Hatters salvaged the final game of their A-Sun opening series at FGCU this past weekend. In the process, Head Coach Pete Dunn captured his 1,300th career victory, the seventh most among active coaches in college baseball. As a team, the Hatters are last in the A-Sun with a .254 batting average but have the league's lowest earned run average (3.68). Senior John Fussell is the lone hatter with a batting average above .300 and comes into the series hitting .301. Sunday's starting pitcher, freshman Logan Gilbert is 2-0 with a 2.20 ERA in 32.2 innings pitched.
