JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida Softball team had their game against Monmouth this Thursday called due to rain. No makeup date will be announced.
Â
The game was moved up to 2 p.m. from 3 p.m., in hopes of beating the inclement weather, but a steady rain that began in the top of the third inning became worse through the fourth inning with the score tied 4-4.
Â
The Ospreys are back in action Saturday and Sunday with their first conference series, they'll face Stetson in A-Sun play with a doubleheader Saturday at 1 p.m., and a single game on Sunday at 1 p.m.
