#FlyHigh QUICK HITS
READY TO BE #1
This squad is just three 3-pointers away from setting the program record for long balls made in a season. The 2009-10 team currently owns the record with 165.
PERFECTO!
Freshman Hadley Kiefer was perfect from long range against Stetson (2/4). She went 6-for-6 which is the Division I school record and was just one long-ball shy of matching the school record for threes in a game.
DEJA VU
UNF faced off with the Hatters just six days ago when Stetson grabbed an 81-61 win.
THREE TO BE YOU & ME
Junior Claire Ioannidis ranks 19th in the country with 64 three-point baskets made. She is also 19th in 3PT FG attempts.Â
SCORE MORE!Â
Ioannidis is on track to get into the top 10 in points scored in a season. She needs just 31 points to crack the top 10. Only seven other players in school history have scored 400 or more points in a season.Â
HIT THE LONG BALL
UNF ranks 43rd out of 344 teams with 162 three-point field goals made.
FROM LONG RANGE
Junior transfer Claire Ioannidis is now second in the all-time UNF single-season records. Jadhken Kerr holds the record with 80 makes.Â
LONG RANGE STREAKING
The Ospreys have made at least one three-pointer in 24 consecutive games dating back to last season. FGCU held UNF without a triple on 2/25/15.Â
COMING UP
North Florida goes back on the road to play Lipscomb and Kennesaw State at their respective home courts.
SINK THE FREEBIES
Hadley Kiefer, Sierra Shepherd and Claire Ioannidis are all shooting above 80 percent from the charity stripe. Shepherd leads with an 86.2 clip from the line.
ON THIS DAY
North Florida is 1-5 on 2/10. The lone victory on Feb. 10 was at Augusta State in 2001.
IN IT TO WIN IT
With one more win, the Ospreys will surpass their conference record for the first time since 2013.
PUT UP THE POINTS
The 50 points scored by UNF on Saturday were the most against FGCU in conference play this season. The last time any opponent put up more than 50 was December 28.
BLOCK PARTY
Junior Karrah Johnson has blocked at least one ball in 14 games this season and is sixth in the conference in stops.Â
PULL IT DOWN
Senior Kadesia Johnson and junior Karrah Johnson have combined for 87 total rebounds in A-Sun action.
KEEP ME ON THE FLOOR
Sophomore Sierra Shepherd, junior Taru Madekivi and Ioannidis are likely to crack the top seven for single-season records in minutes played.
