Ospreys host Spartans at 2 p.m.

JACKSONVILLE - North Florida women's basketball begins its final home games when USC Upstate comes to town on Saturday for a 2 p.m. tip-off at UNF Arena. Prior to the game, the Ospreys will honor senior Kadesia Johnson.

USC Upstate is currently 17-9 on the season and 8-3 in conference action most recently dropping a 56-44 game to conference-leading FGCU on Monday. In the first meeting between the two teams, the Spartans grabbed a 69-54 victory on January 26.

Sophomore Sierra shepherd is 20 assists away from getting into the top 10 in single-season helpers. She ranks 3rd in the A-Sun in assists per game.

FROM LONG RANGE
Claire Ioannidis is now second in the all-time UNF single-season records in 3-pointers made. Jadhken Kerr holds the record with 80 makes.

PERFECTO!
Freshman Hadley Kiefer was perfect from long range at Stetson (2/4) and set the Division I school record with a 6-for-6 outing from long-range.

LONG RANGE STREAKING
The Ospreys have made at least one three-pointer in 27 consecutive games dating back to last season. FGCU held UNF without a triple on 2/25/15.

ON THIS DAY
UNF is 2-5 on February 20. The Ospreys last victory was against Kennesaw State in 2010.

SHOOT THE THREE!
In the last 10 games, freshman Hadley Kiefer is shooting 42 percent from long range with 18 triples made. In the last five games, Kiefer is 52 percent from behind the arc.
