VERO BEACH, Fla. -- The No. 37-ranked North Florida men's golf team continues their busy stretch of tournament action Monday in the Quail Valley Intercollegiate at Quail Valley Golf Club.
The Ospreys, who are coming off an impressive fourth-place finish at the prestigious Tavistock Collegiate Invitational last week, are playing in a tournament for the third consecutive week. Junior Dillon Woods was named the ASUN Golfer of the Week following a career best performance. Woods finished tied for fourth after posting a personal best 54-hole total of 210 (-6) highlighted by a career low 4-under 68 in the final round.
Sophomore Andrew Alligood, who is the team's leader in stroke average, finished tied with Woods in the last event and has been UNF's most consistent performer of the year.
North Florida, playing in a tournament for the third consecutive week, will use the same lineup as the Tavistock with sophomores Philip Knowles and Travis Trace along with senior Osten Waite joining the duo of Woods and Alligood.
Following Quail Valley, UNF will wrap up their fall tournament slate on Nov. 4-6 in Hawaii at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic.

"We have a quick turn around this week for us which is a good thing when you are playing well. Quail Valley is great course that is always in great shape for the event. It will be a nice challenge to stay focused and continue our good play." -- Head coach Scott Schroeder
