Drury's Hitless Outing: Making his first collegiate start last Tuesday, freshman
Zach Drury could not have scripted a better outing against Florida A&M. The right-hander pitched four hitless innings, walked only one batter and struck out four of the first eight batters he faced. He earned his first collegiate victory and finished the afternoon with a season-best five strikeouts. The
Ospreys kept the no-hitter intact for an additional inning and a third in the 13-3 win.

Same Game, Two New Records: Keith Skinner set a new single game program record on Sat. April 19 with nine RBIs against cross-town rival Jacksonville. The junior catcher, hit two home runs including a grand slam in the third inning. In the same game,
Donnie Dewees came around to score five times, which is a new D-1 era (2006-present) record and ties the program mark most recently accomplished in 1997.
First to 10, 20, 30: North Florida currently sits atop the Atlantic Sun Conference standings with a record of 8-4. So far this season they have been the first team in the league to 10 wins, 20 wins and an A-Sun best, 30 wins in 2015.
Dormant Weekend Approaching: Playing one more conference series then all but three of the eight Atlantic Sun teams, North Florida will even up with the rest of the league with no games scheduled this weekend. The Ospreys will resume game play on May 1 against Stetson, an eight-day layoff.
Chasing Harmon Win Record: Sunday's win against Jacksonville was the 21st win of the season at Harmon Stadium. Only the 2013 Ospreys, who won 24 games at home, have been more successful at playing in front of the home crowd. The Ospreys have four home games remaining, a midweek matchup against UCF and a three against Kennesaw State to close out the regular season.
National Team Rankings: The Ospreys rank in the top 10 nationally in six categories. They are first in runs (335), second in fielding percentage (.983), third in hits (467), seventh in scoring (7.8 rpg), seventh in home runs (43) and seventh in double plays (44).
Dewees in Top 10: Redshirt sophomore
Donnie Dewees leads the country in four different categories, runs (62), runs per game (1.48), slugging percentage (.778) and total bases (133). He is in the top 10 in the country in home runs (13), batting average (.421), triples (7) and RBIs (51).
Closing in on 200: After a career best four hits in Saturday's win against Jacksonville,
Alex Bacon is just two hits shy of his 200th career hit. Only eight players in the 28-year history of the program have amassed 200 or more hits including former teammates, Andrew Karmeris, Michael Smith, T.J. Thompson and
Drew Weeks.
Outfield Assists: Garrick Ferguson ended a first inning Jacksonville rally on Sunday with an outfield assist. He and
Donnie Dewees lead the team with six outfield assists. As a team, the Ospreys are four behind national leader, South Dakota State.
Power vs. Power: Tuesday's matchup will feature two of the most prominent home run hitting teams in the country. The Knights have belted 51 home runs which are two behind national leader Samford. The Ospreys are not far behind with 43 including six this past weekend against Jacksonville.
About UCF - The Knights slipped out of most of the national polls after losing two out of three on the road to Tulane this past weekend. One of the top offensive teams in the country, UCF was shut out twice including a 10-0 loss on Sunday.
About The Citadel- Wednesday will mark the second time this season the two teams meet with the Ospreys taking a 16-9 decision back on Feb. 18.
Nick Karmeris hit his first home run of the season and drove in three runs to propel the Osprey offense. Connor Walsh leads the Bulldogs at the plate with a .355 batting average and a team highs in home runs (3) and RBIs. The Citadel avoided a sweep on the road to University of North Carolina-Greensboro with an 8-7 win in Saturday's doubleheader nightcap. Wednesday's game will the second of five at home this week for the Bulldogs.
