JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Former North Florida outfielder Nick Monile signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Milwaukee Brewers and was assigned to the MLB Complex League on Friday.

"I'm really excited and grateful for the opportunity to sign with the Milwaukee Brewers organization," Monile said. "I was fortunate to play college baseball for coaches and teammates that made an impact on me at the University of North Florida and Niagara University. They played a big role in my development. They taught me to have a tough mindset, to compete and to work hard at the college level to help me reach my dream. I had to make the most of the opportunities that I had and am proud to be a Brewer."

The MLB Complex League is a rookie-level minor league baseball organization primarily designed for developing newly acquired talent.

Monile was named a 2025 ASUN Third Team All-Conference selection after he posted team-highs with a .338 batting average, 53 runs, 53 walks and five triples. He ranked No. 21 nationally and led the ASUN Conference in walks. The former Osprey started 55 games and played in all 56 for North Florida in 2025.

Monile finished second on the team with 198 at bats, 67 hits, 11 doubles and a .942 OPS. In 198 at bats last season, Monile struck out just 21 times and secured a .482 on base percentage. Both his at bats and on base percentage ranked second on the team.

He ranked top five on the team with 113 putouts and a .975 fielding percentage.

"We are extremely proud and excited for Nick as he begins the next chapter in his baseball journey," North Florida baseball head coach Joe Mercadante said. "While we will miss him on the field and in the locker room, he made a tremendous impact in our program and he will always be an Osprey."

The Buffalo, N.Y., native tallied 21 multi-hit games and five games with three hits in his lone season at North Florida. His 3-5 outing against UCF on April 8 was capped off by a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth. Monile's best performances came with three four-RBI games against Stetson on April 26 and at Jacksonville on May 15 and May 17.
