@OspreySB Heads to Clearwater for USF Under Armour Showcase

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida softball team heads to Clearwater, Fla. this weekend for the USF Under Armour Showcase at the Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex.

The Ospreys (13-6) are coming off of a 3-1 weekend at their home tournament. Their trip to Clearwater will be their final tournament of the season.

North Florida's lineup is led by junior Stacy McClelland, who holds the team-highs in home runs (6), RBIs (20), slugging pct. (.738) and on-base percentage (.479). Junior Katie Mandigo also holds the team-high in RBIs with 20 and doubles with six, batting .308 on the year so far.

The Ospreys' pitching staff is led by seniors Kayla Goff and Kaylie Wallace. Goff holds a 7-1 record in eight starts, throwing 43 strike outs and a 1.63 ERA. Wallace holds a team-best 1.59 ERA and has 28 strikeouts this season.

The Ospreys start their weekend off with two games on Friday. They face Central Michigan at approximately 4:15 p.m. and then face Seton Hall at approximately 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday, North Florida plays SIU-Edwardsville at approximately 1:45 p.m., then St. Joseph's at approximately 4:15 p.m.

The Ospreys close their weekend Sunday against Dayton at approximately 11:15 a.m.
