
#TF Concludes Competition at FSU Relays

Day Two Results
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The North Florida men's and women's track teams concluded action in their outdoor season opener Saturday with some noteworthy performances at the FSU Relays.
"This was a great way to open the outdoor season," said UNF head coach Jeff Pigg. "Our main focus this weekend was to get some experience for our kids. I thought we saw some good things and can now turn our attention to our upcoming home event. The FSU Relays are always a fun event and Florida State does a tremendous job hosting them."
Highlights for the UNF men's team on day two included freshman Caleb Collins capturing the triple jump title with a leap of 13.80m (45'03.50). Kyle Crompton, who as battled injuries since his arrival at UNF, finished fourth with a school-record time of 54.47 in the 400m hurdles.
In addition, the Osprey pole vault duo of Shelton McLean and Clayton Washburn matched their finishes in the ASun Indoor Championships by ending the day in second and fifth, respectively. McLean reached a height of 4.50m (14'09.00) while Washburn's top mark was 4.35m (14'03.25).
On the women's side, Marla Collins finished fourth (1.58m / 5'02.25) and India Adams was seventh (1.53m/ 5'00.25) in the high jump. The Ospreys also got a pair of top 10 finishes in the triple jump from Laila Foster (11.57m / 37'11.50) and Arlescia Chieves (11.46m/37.07.25), earning fifth and sixth, respectively.
