#MTEN Takes On No. 62 Miami and No. 64 UCF This Weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The University of North Florida men's tennis team faces two nationally-ranked opponents in as many days this weekend as the Ospreys travel to  No. 62 University of Miami (Fla.) on Saturday and No. 64 UCF on Sunday.

Last weekend, the Ospreys swept their home-opening doubleheader against Georgia Southern and Bethune-Cookman. North Florida accumulated 13 total wins, nine singles and four doubles victories.

With the success of the weekend, Norbert Nemcsek was awarded the Atlantic Sun Men's Tennis Player of the Week accolade. Nemcsek went undefeated on the weekend with singles wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots and paired with Jack Findel-Hawkins to go 2-0 at the No. 1 doubles spot.

Miami comes into the match with a 3-3 dual record. The Hurricanes have garnered wins over Florida Atlantic, Bethune-Cookman and Florida A&M. The Hurricanes are 5-1 at No. 3 singles with Diego Soto having four of the wins. Miami is 3-0 at No. 3 doubles with Gabriel Flores and Soto combining for a 2-0 record and Omar Aly and Danny Shebshayevich having a 1-0 mark.

UCF enters the weekend at  4-1 in duals this spring. The Knights' only loss was to No. 58 Indiana when they were taken down 5-2 in Bloomington, Ind., on Feb. 9. Jesse Flores heads into the match with a 5-0 singles record, going 4-0 at No. 6 singles and 1-0 at No. 3.  UCF's match with North Florida opens a seven-match home streak for the Knights.

The Miami match will be played at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center at 2 p.m., on Saturday. The UCF match is scheduled for Noon on Sunday at the UCF Tennis Complex. Â Â
