#MTEN Heads to USF

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The University of North Florida men's tennis team travels to Tampa, Fla., to take on No. 74 USF at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts on Sunday at Noon.

"The entire team has been working really hard throughout the week," said head coach Mark Finnegan. "We are ready to play a tough team at USF. We will take this match as another opportunity for our team to get better."

This will be the Ospreys' first match since falling to Georgia Tech 4-2 last Saturday. The Ospreys earned a 6-2 doubles win at the No. 2 spot and got singles wins from Jack Findel-Hawkins and Yannick Zuern at the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively.

Caio Gomes' performance last week earned him the Atlantic Sun Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors. Gomes paired with Zuern to collect two doubles wins, including a 6-2 victory over No. 13 Gordon Watson and Elliott Orkin of Florida. Gomes also had UNF's only singles win at No. 14 Florida

USF comes off a 6-1 win against Florida Gulf Coast, capturing 5 of the 6 singles matches and sweeping the doubles.
