JACKSONVILLE – Following a thrilling buzzer-beater victory over NKU on Thursday night, the North Florida basketball team rounds out its current home Saturday with a rematch against Lipscomb at 7 p.m. in UNF Arena.
The Ospreys (12-11, 6-4 ASun) have won three straight at home and handed the Bisons (9-12, 4-6) a 78-73 defeat on Jan. 4 in Nashville.
Freshman Dallas Moore, the Ospreys leading scorer at 13.0 points per game, is coming off his third 20-point performance of the season after netting a team best 21 points on Thursday night. Charles McRoy chipped in 15 points and pulled down a team-best eight rebounds. Jalen Nesbitt scored the game winner on a rebound putback with 1.5 seconds remaining in the game.
Lipscomb has won two straight and three of their last four games heading into Saturday's tilt. The Bisons topped Jacksonville, 88-76, in their last outing. Martin Smith leads LU in scoring at 16.2 points per game.
Saturday's contest marks the 17th all-time meeting between UNF and Lipscomb with the all-time series knotted at 8-8.
The Ospreys have enjoyed some recent success in the series owning a current six-game win streak.

Following the game with Lipscomb, North Florida begins a three-game road swing through the state with games at Stetson (Feb. 6), Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 8) and Jacksonville (Feb. 14).
