#MBB Opens Road Swing at ETSU

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- The North Florida basketball team hits the road for a pair of key Atlantic Sun Conference games beginning Thursday against ETSU at the MSHA Athletic Center at 7 p.m.
The Ospreys (11-9, 5-2 ASun) carry a two-game win streak into their battle with the Bucs (9-10, 2-4). UNF is coming off an emotional 86-82 victory over crosstown rival Jacksonville in its last outing.
Against JU, senior Travis Wallace posted a career game finishing with a season best 27 points to go along with a UNF Division I school record 19 rebounds. Wallace's second double-double of the season earned him A-Sun Player of the Week honors on Monday.
Wallace is averaging 12.5 points a game for UNF and leads the team in rebounding at 7.8 per contest. In conference play, he tops the league charts pulling down 9.4 boards a game. Freshman Dallas Moore is the squad's leading scorer at 12.6 ppg.
Rashawn Rembert averages 15.3 points a game to pace a quartet of Bucs in double digits. Rembert is one of the league's top three-point shooters having made 54 treys on the year and connecting at a 44.3 percent clip.
Thursday's game marks the 18th all-time meeting between UNF and ETSU with the Bucs holding a 15-2 advantage in the series. The Ospreys posted a 77-64 win in the pair's last match-up last season at UNF Arena. North Florida is searching for its first win at the MSHA Athletic Center having fallen in each of its previous eight visits to Johnson City.
