He advanced to second base on a sacrifice bunt. After a batter walked, Westwood fanned the next batter for the second out of the inning. With two on and two out, Lipscomb used a single to third base to score the lead runner and take a 1-0 lead.

The Lipscomb shortstop appeared to have the ball, but dropped it, allowing all runners to advance safely. N. Karmeris and Brooks both scored on the play, but Wielbruda was called out trying to advance to second base. The Bisons ended the inning with a fly ball to center field, but the Ospreys led 2-1.
The Ospreys increased their lead with four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Marincov led off the inning with a double to right center field. He came around to score on a RBI single by Dewees.
