
Road Swing Continues for #MBB at UALR

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The North Florida basketball team continues its three game season-opening road swing Monday against UALR at 7 p.m. (CT).
The Ospreys (0-1) look to build on a strong debut performance at No. 10 Florida, when UNF came up a little short in a 77-69 decision on Friday afternoon in Gainesville, Fla.
The game marks the season opening contest for UALR, who posted a 17-15 record a year ago and return all five starters. It will also be the first meeting on the hardwood between the Ospreys and Trojans.
Against Florida, sophomore Beau Beech led the way for UNF finishing with 16 points including going 5-for-8 from the three-point line. Senior Travis Wallace added 15 points and pulled down a team best eight rebounds, while freshman Romelo Banks tallied 10 points and six boards in his collegiate debut.
The Trojans are led by Will Neighbour who averaged 10.7 points and 7.0 rebounds a game last season. UALR posted a 13-3 record at home last year including a 5-1 mark versus non-conference opponents
