Johnson City, Tenn. – Junior keeper Megan Dorsey set a school record, tallying 20 saves in the 2-2 draw against East Tennessee State in Johnson City on Friday night.

The Ospreys were relentless throughout the match, despite being outshot 46-12. ETSU also had a 9-3 advantage in corner kicks. North Florida was led by senior forward Lauren Hopfensperger who recorded four shots, including three shots on goal. Ellis Parsons and Jenny Poltl each had double-digit shots for ETSU tallying 11 and 10, respectively.Â
"We played a really talented team tonight," said head coach Linda Hamilton. "From the start it was a battle and I was proud of how our team played."

The Buccaneers were the first to score when Sarah Zadrazil found the back of the net in the 7th minute. Hopfensperger's goal in the 17th minute would even the match at 1-1 which was assisted by senior midfielder Bri Swift.

In the 29th minute, ETSU would regain the lead after a goal from Molly Collinson. The Ospreys would respond with a goal of their own in the 44th minute after Lanie Keating sent a free kick to the box and connected with Alex Herman who put the ball in the back of the net.

Both teams would remain scoreless for the rest of the match.

Dorsey's 20 saves in tonight's match currently leads the nation this season. Jasmine Elliott would finish the match with five saves on the night for ETSU.

"Tonight was a good game," said Hamilton. "We were able to get some points and we look to continue doing so in our match on Sunday."

The Ospreys travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on USC Upstate on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
