JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida basketball team plays its lone home contest in a 12-game stretch Thursday at 7 p.m. at UNF Arena against in-state foe Florida A&M.
The Ospreys (2-4) got back on the winning track Tuesday with a hard fought 71-65 road victory at Bethune-Cookman. FAMU earned its first win of the season in its last outing topping Presbyterian, 69-55.
The game marks the second straight season and third all-time meeting between UNF and FAMU on the hardwood. The Rattlers own a slim 2-1 advantage in the series, but the Ospreys posted a 90-63 victory last season in Tallahassee.

Smith leads the NCAA with 27 three-pointers (4.5/game) this season and is shooting a blistering 56.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Junior Travis Wallace is also averaging double digits (10.7 ppg) and leads the squad with 4.5 rebounds a night. Wallace is currently riding a three-game double-figure scoring streak.
The last game out, freshman Cameron Naylor made his collegiate debut for the Ospreys finishing with eight points and three rebounds against BCU. Senior point guard Will Wilson continues to lead the Atlantic Sun with 6.2 assists per game and a 3.1 assist-turnover ratio.
